Life is hard. God did not promise us that life was going to be easy, but He does not call us to do it on our own. I believe that things can get better, and my passion is to help people experience transformation in themselves and their lives. Together we will look to our God, who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). My hope is that your growth will extend to all areas of your life and help you become a better son or daughter, friend, parent, co-worker, classmate, or spouse.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, an eating disorder, depression, trauma recovery, relationship issues, challenges with your child or teenager, or some other obstacle, Christian counseling can help. As a Doctor of Psychology with over 15 years of clinical experience, I look forward to working with you to find lasting relief from your concerns. With empathy, compassion, and professional expertise, I will help you discover practical, achievable steps toward a healthy, thriving life and peaceful relationships with others. Don’t let another day go by without taking the next step toward your own personal well-being.
Life should be more than just pain and trials. Though they can serve a purpose, I believe that God has much more in store for you. My hope is to help you discover the wonderful joys and strength that lie beneath the pain and trauma you might be facing. Through Christ, we can conquer fear and find freedom, healing, and purpose. Whatever challenges you face, I offer you a safe place for you to discover all that God can do for your life.
Too often clients come into counseling feeling a sense of failure or defeat, but I believe the very act of making your first appointment is a victory, a decision to take care of yourself and get the support you need. As a Christian counselor, my goal is to help you find hope and strength, worth and peace, not in spite of your trials and pain, but by having lived through them. My hope is that through our sessions you will gain a deeper knowledge that even in the midst of your brokenness, you are a beloved child of God.

My greatest passion is to assist clients in the counseling process. I will help you strengthen your sense of self and develop better coping mechanisms for life’s challenges. As your Christian therapist, I will help you implement positive changes in your life that will promote lasting healing and growth in the Lord. You will be encouraged to identify emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, and explore new opportunities to grow and move forward. I have personally experienced the transformative nature of God’s power to deliver my clients from their pain and suffering and I know He can do the same for you!
After 18 years of marriage, four kids, and an abundance of experience with mental health issues like depression and anxiety, I'd love to sit down with you and help you figure out the “Why?" and the "Now what?" regarding the challenges you’re facing—and discover where we can find the power to do such courageous and important work. Whether relational, behavioral, or mood concerns, I specialize in a deep and comprehensive approach toward freedom as we put the “grid of the gospel” down on each and every issue we work through together.
