I provide Christian counseling for children, teenagers, young adults and their families, and adult individuals. With guidance and compassion, I offer professional counseling skills and experience grounded in the firm foundation of the Christian understanding of the human person. If you feel stuck, scared, or overwhelmed, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work through it. My clinical understanding of psychology combined with my theological understanding of our minds, souls, and bodies will offer an opportunity for you to move toward the freedom that we are promised in Christ.
With 25 years of pastoral ministry working with children, youth, and adults of all ages and backgrounds, I offer compassionate Christian counseling to individuals, couples, and families. Using emotionally focused therapy (EFT), I will walk with you in a confidential and secure space as we gain clarity on the significance of your emotions and attachments and how they may affect your relationships. My aim is for you to come to a greater understanding of how your innate and biblical need to belong, to be seen, to be understood, and to be accepted impacts how you feel about yourself, others, and God.
We were created for belonging, and each one of us has an innate desire to connect and feel seen. My experience as a therapist allows me to connect with a variety of people from all walks of life, including children, teenagers, athletes, couples, and families. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other concerns, I would be honored to walk alongside you to help you find healing, peace, and strength in God. John 8:32 says “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” It is my firm belief that God will always fulfill His promises.
If you are looking to move from a place of surviving to thriving, I am here to support you. My aim is for you to experience a renewed sense of confidence by recognizing your strengths and discovering your true potential from the inside out in all facets of life. As a therapist rooted in God’s Word, I firmly believe that God is the ultimate healer. It is my privilege to be used as His instrument to support the healing of your heart and transformation of your mind (Romans 12:2).
Therapy offers a unique opportunity for you to engage with your story, to explore with curiosity and kindness, to be seen and heard, and to heal and grow. I approach our work together by inviting a trustworthy, professional collaboration to explore your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the stories that have shaped who you are today. We were created to flourish in our relationships but so often relational experiences feel disconnected, confusing, and messy. With God’s help through the context of Christian counseling, you can experience wholeness, recovery, and lasting hope.
People are my calling. My job is to help people like you heal their lives, relationships, and families. With over two decades of experience helping tens of thousands of individuals, couples, and families, I offer empathy, a listening ear, and a healthy dose of wisdom. I am straightforward and often use humor in my practice. I believe it’s so important to be relaxed in this work. I work quickly and don’t waste time getting down to the business of healing people of all ages, backgrounds, genders, relationships, and cultures.
With a gentle, patient spirit, I will listen with care and compassion to really understand your story and help you process through the difficult and traumatic events in your life. As a Christian therapist, I really do care about my clients and want you to know that you are safe to share whatever is on your heart and mind without fear of judgment. While therapy does require work on the part of both client and therapist, through dedication, faith-based therapy is a fantastic way to transform into your best self and improve your relationships, with God’s help.
