About
As a child of immigrants who came to the US at a very early age, I understand that identity is multifaceted, layered, and deeply personal. I know what it is like to feel like you don’t belong or are different in some way. That feeling can show up in many ways for many different reasons, and I am here to see you, hear you, and work through those experiences with you. As a Christian counselor, I believe understanding and embracing your identity as a child of God and how that impacts the way you engage with the world can provide you the freedom you need to influence change so you can make decisions that would benefit you emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
One of my goals as your counselor is to help you identify problematic areas in your life that have led to pain, frustration, and failed expectations over time. Once identified, we will collaborate on goals that are meaningful and obtainable so that the process of healing doesn’t feel too daunting or overwhelming. I will journey alongside you in the path toward growth and development, encouraging you and spurring you on along the way.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you can feel free to openly express your thoughts and concerns. I will listen to your story in order to gain insight and understanding about your circumstances. Together we will seek to determine how your environment impacts your behavior, thoughts, and emotions, then we will work to navigate a path toward healing and hope, using a combination of effective therapeutic tools and biblical guidance.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
I will take a collaborative approach in my work with you to develop a treatment plan that will position you to achieve your therapeutic goals. As a Christian counselor, I seek to apply biblical truths and wisdom to reveal how God is already at work in your journey. We will consider your identity in Christ and how that truth impacts your outlook on life. It would be my pleasure to work collaboratively with you toward your healing and growth in pursuit of your goals for therapy.
