As an experienced Christian counselor, I work with children, teens, adults and families. I will walk through your areas of concern with you as you process the myriad emotions attached to the issues. You are God’s beautiful creation, and He desires to make you more like Christ each day. He is the ultimate physician and healer, and I believe He will use our sessions to help you experience a joy-filled life that reflects Christ’s love no matter the circumstances you are enduring. Together we will work toward a solution that is focused on your strengths to create a more resourceful and resilient person grounded in Christ.
As your counselor, my role is to provide a safe space where we can explore and understand the depths of your experiences together. Through a process of self-acceptance and self-discovery, you will find the strengths God has given you to overcome life’s obstacles and begin your path toward spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical wholeness. I commend you for taking this courageous first step towards change. It takes a great deal of strength and vulnerability to seek help, and your willingness to do so is truly inspiring. I look forward to seeing how the Lord will work in your life for good.
God cares about you and is concerned with every detail of your life. Knowing that God created you as a unique individual with passion and purpose motivates me to come alongside what God is already doing in your life, to help facilitate the healing and growth process. I highly value the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of each client. I genuinely love and care for others. Your life story and experiences are important. By working to process past hurt, trauma, and negative feedback loops, real progress can take place. I look forward to helping you progress toward healing in order to lead your best life.
Therapy offers a unique opportunity for you to engage with your story, to explore with curiosity and kindness, to be seen and heard, and to heal and grow. I approach our work together by inviting a trustworthy, professional collaboration to explore your relationship with yourself, with others, and with the stories that have shaped who you are today. We were created to flourish in our relationships but so often relational experiences feel disconnected, confusing, and messy. With God’s help through the context of Christian counseling, you can experience wholeness, recovery, and lasting hope.
With a gentle, patient spirit, I will listen with care and compassion to really understand your story and help you process through the difficult and traumatic events in your life. As a Christian therapist, I really do care about my clients and want you to know that you are safe to share whatever is on your heart and mind without fear of judgment. While therapy does require work on the part of both client and therapist, through dedication, faith-based therapy is a fantastic way to transform into your best self and improve your relationships, with God’s help.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 18 years of private practice experience, I am passionate about helping my clients move beyond the pain into a more enjoyable life in Christ. Whether you’re dealing with individual struggles, relational problems, or family issues, we will work together in a supportive, collaborative environment to find the solutions that work best for you. Looking for a therapist may feel overwhelming, but you’ve already taken the first step on your path to healing. I look forward to continuing the journey with you and watching the Lord work in your life through our sessions together.
In Psalm 50:15 God says, “Call upon me in thy day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” My mom taught me this Scripture when I was three years old. I have used it many times in my life. We all struggle to reach out and let others help, but you are doing just that. You are asking God for guidance, you are calling out for help, and I believe that God will deliver you from your troubles. As a licensed counselor with over 30 years of experience, I will help you evaluate your current circumstances and accomplish your goals by using proven and effective techniques and strategies. As you draw from the power of the Holy Spirit, you will be led down the path of healing and purpose that God has for you.
My mission is to be the catalyst in helping you heal, grow, and create sustainable change in your life for a more hopeful future. You no longer have to face the pain, struggles, and challenges alone. I will help you identify the problem, uproot your obstacles, and create an actionable plan to empower you to accomplish your purpose and deepen your spiritual, physical, and emotional quality of life. My goal as your counselor is to guide your journey from where you are to where you want to be.
My greatest passion is to assist clients in the counseling process. I will help you strengthen your sense of self and develop better coping mechanisms for life’s challenges. As your Christian therapist, I will help you implement positive changes in your life that will promote lasting healing and growth in the Lord. You will be encouraged to identify emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, and explore new opportunities to grow and move forward. I have personally experienced the transformative nature of God’s power to deliver my clients from their pain and suffering and I know He can do the same for you!
With empathy and encouragement, my aim is to guide and support you as you work toward your personal and relational goals through professional Christian counseling. Many of my clients have described increased motivation and reduced mental health symptoms through our work. In my practice, I work with teens and adults and hope that through our time together, you will feel validated and comfortable sharing your pain and empowered to grow through our work. I know firsthand how it can feel to open up to someone about challenging issues. I want you to feel you can communicate openly and honestly without fear about whatever is on your heart.
I am a Christian psychologist with decades of counseling and mental health experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I offer therapy for children, teens, adult individuals, couples, families, and groups. My primary goal is to help people help themselves. Using a short-term, solution-focused approach, I will employ motivational interviewing techniques to help you establish clear, monitorable, measurable, and attainable goals. Whether you’re looking for support for issues related to anxiety, depression, addictions and chemical dependency, relationship problems, trauma, anger management, or other concerns, I would be honored to walk with you on the path toward healing and wholeness in Christ.
Life is hard. God did not promise us that life was going to be easy, but He does not call us to do it on our own. I believe that things can get better, and my passion is to help people experience transformation in themselves and their lives. Together we will look to our God, who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). My hope is that your growth will extend to all areas of your life and help you become a better son or daughter, friend, parent, co-worker, classmate, or spouse.
We were created for belonging, and each one of us has an innate desire to connect and feel seen. My experience as a therapist allows me to connect with a variety of people from all walks of life, including children, teenagers, athletes, couples, and families. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other concerns, I would be honored to walk alongside you to help you find healing, peace, and strength in God. John 8:32 says “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” It is my firm belief that God will always fulfill His promises.
Deciding to seek out a counselor can be difficult. Admitting you have an issue you can’t conquer on your own can be unbelievably humbling. We were not made to live in isolation, to figure everything out, or to get through all of life’s challenges alone. As one who has encountered storms in life, I can tell you that no matter how strong the wind and the waves may be, you can weather and overcome them through Jesus Christ. Combining my biblical and mental health training with my 23 years of experience in the field, I would be honored to come alongside you to help you find healing and restoration.
As your therapist, I will provide you with a welcoming and safe space to explore the desired outcome of your life. With empathy and compassion, I will seek to see your experiences through your lens and work with you toward holistic healing – physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual – with God’s help and direction. My desire is to walk alongside you on this journey and help you to realize the potential you have within to achieve greatness and restoration in your personal life and relationships.
