God has a Plan for You : Video Message from a Christian Counselor

In this short video, I discuss the importance of hearing and listening to God’s calling on your life. He talks to us through others, in certain events, and His timing is always perfect, even if we don’t understand it at the time.

God has a Plan for You

I also discuss how you should never let anyone or anything cause you to give up on your dreams and purpose in life. It is easy to become defeated and give up, but God calls us to keep going — even if it’s one day at a time, putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward.

Like us if you are enjoying this content.

He always listens when you pray, so talk to Him. He will never abandon or leave you. He is always available. I feel peace most often after I am done praying for something serious or even something small. I believe that God is working everything out for my good, and He wants the same for you. God has a plan for you.

In this video I also talk about a Bible plan I read recently on YouVersion.com that discussed God’s purpose for my life.

I read something that stood out to me that I wanted to share:

“How can we know if we are living our calling? Read one or more of the following accounts of Scripture to discover how Joseph, Moses, Nehemiah, Esther, Jonah, and Jesus received their callings from God.

From these passages, you will see that God often uses other people to communicate with us about our call. Events or circumstances are used to guide us in the discovery of our purpose.

Our preparation may guide us toward our designated purpose at a time. Timing may also include the combination of several factors coming together for the fulfillment of God’s purposes.

For example:

People – God used Mordecai to communicate His call to Esther.
Significant Events – God used the Burning Bush to get Moses’ attention.
Preparation – Joseph’s gifts were revealed after months of imprisonment.
Timing – Nehemiah prayed, fasted, and reflected for four months (Kislev to Nisan) before communicating with the King about his calling” (Youversion.com).

I hope you find some helpful hints or tools to utilize in my video, discussing God’s calling and purpose for your life. We all have a part to play in God’s story.

Even if it feels small and insignificant to you or others, it is a big deal to Him. You are a big deal to him, which is why you are searching for something greater. That is most likely Him pulling you towards Him. He has a funny way of pulling us in or pulling us back to Him, as I have discovered myself.

You will never find anything that fulfills your life in a deeper and more meaningful way than the love that God has for you. Our children and spouses are a big part of this, but when you are alone and isolated, only God can fill this void for you.

Remember: God has a plan for you. If you need counseling, please check out my profile on our website and contact me.
