As a Christian counselor, I understand that growth and healing take time. With empathy and patience, I offer you a safe space to process your struggles and concerns. To the best of my ability, I will sit with you in your story, identify with your pain, and help you climb out of darkness toward the light. During our time together, you’ll have ample opportunity to share what’s on your heart as we work toward the changes necessary for you to find the hope and peace you desire.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goals as a counselor are to support, validate, and encourage my clients to find their voice, to feel empowered, and to explore and move through life challenges with hope. I work with my clients to witness and see who they really are and connect with their stories. My clients will gain confidence and understanding, and know they have a space to feel safe while they journey through life’s transitions.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I want to hear who you are, what is important to you, and what you desire to gain from our time together. I want to be a partner alongside you during your healing journey. I will accept you without judgment wherever you are in your life, just as God the Father loves and accepts us exactly where we are.
I will work with you to identify the deeper hurts, beliefs, thoughts, or systems that may be playing into your current issue. From there, I will provide an objective voice to help you sort through your circumstances as you move forward in your journey.
No matter how complex, messy, or perfect … your story matters.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
I believe that in a truly holistic approach, Christianity and faith bring a depth to one’s counseling experience where people can better embrace their own beliefs and feel accepted for their truth. There is a unique spiritual aspect to counseling that when explored through a Christian lens, can allow room for the Holy Spirit to work as well as help us better understand the entirety of one’s story.
Through God, there is no limit to how much a person can grow. With God being included in the counseling process, there is greater potential to find and hold onto hope.
